ABOUT
The people have spoken and they want JC McCord! In only a week after releasing the official video for his first single, Livin’ the Good Life, it racked up over 1,100 views on Youtube, gained 500 likes on his music page, and brought in over 100 members to his personal VIP community called the Farm Team!
JC (short for Jason Carter) McCord is an independent country singer/songwriter based out of Boston, MA. He grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh and has been performing professionally since he was 9 years old. As far back as he can remember, he’s had a passion for music. He performed with a professional boy choir that toured the US when he was 12, attended Berklee College of Music in his late teens, and lived in Nashville for ten years working as a demo singer and attracting attention from Songwriter Hall of Fame member, Dean Dillon, whom JC lovingly calls his mentor.
He left the music business to pursue his dream of working with youth and became a counselor for at risk teens at a camp up in northern New Hampshire. This experience eventually led to him becoming a special education teacher in the public school system.
JC is a triple threat as a vocalist, songwriter, and performer. He’s learned that livin the good life means sharing his gifts with the rest of the world and living the best version of himself that he can and he hopes to inspire others to do the same.
